Sha 3: Soul Vengeance pages & script
Do we do a crowdfunder for each Vol or one for an omnibus collection?
This post wraps up Sha - for now! I hope you read yesterday’s post, Sha - The French Connection, for the background on how artist Olivier Ledroit and I collaborated, and some of the twists and turns involved in getting published.
I also asked yesterday if you’d prefer an omnibus, three-volume collection for the planned Kickstarter, or three individual Kickstarter campaigns for the volumes. So far, the opinion is that a big fat three-books-in-one is preferred, but I’d love to get a few more thoughts on that, so please feel free to drop a comment below. Running a crowdfunder on a substantially bigger book, with higher costs, carries correspondingly greater risks, so it would be good to get your views.
Right, on with some select pages from Sha 3 - Soul Vengeance!
John Wagner was very successful funding the new Bogie Man collection, but it is a bit of a risk funding a gorgeous full colour collection like Sha. So, I'm on the side of funding each volume separately.
If it reduces risk to you I’d happily purchase separate volumes. I’d prefer hardback though.
